The Divided States of America
UNITED WE STAND - DIVIDED WE FALL..........AND WILL EVENTUALLY FAIL!!!!
What has happened to the United State of America? It seems as if we spend more time, energy, money, and effort to divide ourselves than unite. The Constitution states, "We the People". I think if we were to write this today we might say, "We The African American, The European American, The Latin America, The Native America, The Irish American, The Asisan American and so on." Can we not just say that we are Americans and still be able to keep our ancestry and culture in tact?
Compared to other countries, the United States of America is a youngster. I see throughout the world where the different cultures of far too many countries are at war with one another. I do not want to see our country grow up and become like them. We need to drop the prefixes and and realize that the common ground we all share is that we are Americans.
